A few weekends ago Kyle and I went exploring in Hillcrest and stopped in at Flashbacks where I found this awesome dress.  I think the foxes on it are great, especially in their little scarves.  Flashbacks is a really fun store and we discovered that they had an entire rack of Christmas sweaters!  We had already bought our Christmas sweaters though, so there's always next year to check them out.  But if you're in need of one, I would recommend going there.  

Look forward to more posts everybody!  I planned out the rest of my month and what will be on each day.  I am especially excited for a Thursday Purrrsday edition with my fabulous friend Rachel and her pretty kitty!  Fun things are on the way!!

This past weekend Kyle and I went thrifting in Los Angeles and one of the stores we visited was It's A Wrap.  This store re-sells clothes donated to them from TV and movie sets, and its where I stumbled across these wonderful red shoes!  They were in my size and fit perfectly so it seemed like they were just waiting there for me to take them home.  I also made a visit to H&M last night and bought this dress which I really like because it can easily be dressed up or dressed down.  After I got home from work I put jeans on with it and it was like a new outfit!  

The weather is finally starting to cool down here in San Diego so I'm looking forward to wearing some more wintery outfits in the weeks to come!

It's officially the holiday season and I am excited about it!!!

And no I did not go out and get these props to take dorky pictures, but conveniently we have been filming Christmas things at work so obviously I am going to take advantage of it! 

I found these amazing tights just last night and I couldn't resist wearing them immediately.  It was really hard finding something to pair them with though, so luckily this dress can fit into any sort of season.

Who doesn't like a shirt that wears their jewelry for them?  I got this shirt a few years ago from a little boutique here in SD called Girls Fashionably Late.  I was sad to find that they don't have a website!  But they do have facebook and I get their monthly emails so they aren't completely a mystery on the web.  They always have really cute clothes and are super helpful with their customers, one time the ladies there helped me pick out an entire outfit to wear to a Christmas Party.  But I love this sweater and think it's just really classy.  I don't think I would wear pearls on my own either so it's nice to have a shirt wear them for me.

I know my nails do not go with this outfit at all, but they are post-Halloween nails and the crackle stuff still looks pretty cool.  I think I'm getting the hang of being in pictures by myself finally, or Katie is just good at telling me what to do.  In the first picture she told me to pop my hip and clearly, I did.

As of Monday, all of my hair is officially red.  So far I am loving it and think I make a pretty awesome red head.  It's interesting experimenting with colors of clothing and a new hair color and I thought Katie's cardigan complimented the color really nicely.  I'm sure i'll start encountering colors that look bad with the red too, I'm thinking green probably won't look too nice with it... not until Christmas at least.  I didn't realize until now that I was wearing two things from Hot Topic, sometimes they have hidden treasures in that store.  I actually got the shoes on clearance about a year ago but whenever I wear them out I always get at least two or three compliments from strangers.  It is a fact that all types of people are attracted to bright pink!!

I didn't realize this morning how insanely hot is was going to be in San Diego today.  And then when we came outside to take these pictures I think I immediately started sweating, which is why there aren't very many.  It's also why I'm dressed for fall/winter in my outfit.  Out of all the brightly colored clothes I have I am for some reason always attracted to grays and blacks and I find that a lot of the time I wear these colors to work.  And today was one of those days.  But I'm probably just thinking that if I dress wintery then maybe it will start to cool down here a bit.  Go away 90 degree weather I want to wear my boots already!  

p.s. I brought my book with me to use as a prop - I know it looks dorky in that last picture but I still like it.

Even though it's the Fall season, it's still in the 80's here in sunny San Diego.  This dress is perfect for the warm weather and if I wanted to I could wear a simple cardigan with it for when the weather gets a little cooler.  I love H&M because even though there dresses are so cute they are incredibly comfortable and I could easily wear one for the entire day.  My shoes I recently bought from Blowfish and I'm in love with them.  They really go with anything!! 

I felt the need to include my awesome Fossil purse because today it sadly started tearing at one of the corners.  I've been using this purse almost an entire year and I am usually the type to get a new one every month or so.  I guess I'll have to retire it soon, but I'm going to try and wear it out till the anniversary of when I got it, which was Black Friday.  

p.s. I'm attempting a "cute" pose in that last picture.  As you can see, I haven't exactly gotten it mastered yet... but I will!!
